At the end of Crazy Love we know that after being injected Gillian lost all her memories and only remembers being called Red Dog, the face of the man who tortured her, and the face of Travis. He’s an ex air force pilot hero, who is now working for a covert government task force.
Their horniness never believably translates to love, but the novel’s high sexual quotient, combined with Janzen’s punchy prose, may lure some readers back for later installments Crazy Cooletc.
Christian’s is my all-time fave: Return to Book Page. Red Dog and Travis were this big mess of a couple. He called her Bad Luck Dekker, a gorgeous socialite who trailed trouble in her wake.
I’m sorry but even with critical times such as those two were in, I still would have prefered the story to develop within a bigger timeframe.
